Moral Lessons In The Story
- The moral lesson abound in every narrative we read, and these teachings equip us to tackle life challenges with greater courage and bravery. These ideas provide us the capacity to make the world a better place for all.
This short novella, tilted “Sinigang”, illustrates the experiences of the majority of Filipino families. Unfortunately, many people may identify to this scenario, which involves a fractured family as a result of an affair. Moral lessons in this play are also lessons that are actually needed and necessary in our lives as, this mirrored in real life. Let me now go over each of the lessons and principles I learned from reading this narrative.
- Forgiveness
is frequently characterized as the act of letting go of resentment, bitterness, anger, and vengeance and retribution toward someone who has harmed us. When Liza's father prayed for forgiveness, this moral was apparent in the story. It's easier said than done to forgive someone. What people have done to us will always be in our hearts, but when we forgive, we are also forgiving ourselves, as we are releasing ourselves from the emotional pain and bruises.
- One of the most important foundations of a family is honesty. It's not just about telling the truth; it's also about being honest with yourself and others about who you are, how you feel, and what you want to convey. A family with an honest link is solid aa rock; with this value, you will be able to look right through the person you love, reducing misunderstandings among those around you.
- Why is it so important for us to be happy? Being satisfied is a way of appreciating what we have. I learned even more about the meaning of contentment as a result of this story. What's wrong is the way or process you use to get what you want. You are cruel if you hurt someone's feelings in order to fulfill a 'want'. Let us stop wishing for more and more and instead be greatful for what we already have. Particulary in marriage one is enough
- Liza's mother exemplified this value; despite his father's author, she loved him unconditionally. Yes, it may appear silly, but it is the truth of life. In our family, parents are usually the ones that appreciate this; they prioritize their children above all else, including themselves.
Impact Of This Story To Me As A 21st Century Learner
- Sinigang left a huge influence on how I see life's true face. Life isn't always enjoyable and dynamic, it's not as perfect as we see in cinemas and programs. Life, especially when it comes to our families, is full with obstacles. We all familiar, but these don't specify who we are. Everyone is valid and worthy, even if you're from broken home or not. This should be honestly remembered by everyone.
As a 21st Century Learner, this topic concerning out of matrimonial affairs is not new to me; I have personally faced this kind of situation. I realized it is not just one or two family but almost half of the population. It is not only one or two families. Choose from cheating, you don't just make cheating because you're a man and can't control yourself. No it's an alternative. The left spouse is sad and unfair, she will be doubting about his worth for a very long time and it will worry her thoughts and heart. As with the youngsters, a contusion is left in their hearts forever.
